A basic one day team building program begins at 9.00am with a short session of ice breaker tasks to help the group gain a feel for the day. These tasks are designed to be fun and to relax the team members before introducing them to the main part of the program. It is our aim to ensure that clients are able to focus on the days event with a positive outlook and a solid understanding of what is expected from them.
The team ice breaker tasks are followed by a number of physical and / or mentally demanding problems or team building tasks. These can be based around a theme such as 'managing conflict', 'listening' or 'understanding social values'. A short review session will follow each of the team tasks and the group will be encouraged to discuss strengths and weaknesses within the team and set goals for the future.
Alternatively, a series of tasks can have an overall purpose and form part of a larger program with its own structure and goals. These programs can be written specifically for your organisation, or delivered from PACE Training Consultants' library of developmental tasks.
The day concludes with a final review of the day and a debrief including planning for change.
